Ayumu gets very jealous, and in the next episode the girls have a conversation about it. This is heightened in episodes 10-11, when Ayumu sees Setsuna Yuki trip fall onto Yuu, and she thinks they are hugging. Throughout the season, Ayumu is seen getting jealous of other girls when Yuu focuses her attention on them. Ayumu performs “Dream with You” to Yuu on the stairs of their apartment complex. After seeing a performance by Setsuna Yuki, both girls are entranced by school idols and decide to join the club with Ayumu as an idol and Yuu as a supporter. It is shown that Yuu wakes up every morning by a call from Ayumu.
They are incredibly close, walking to and from school together every day and going shopping after school often. Yuu and Ayumu are childhood friends and neighbors.
